Due to the different design of different USB3.0 motherboards, the onboard USB port provides different power supply methods. Generally, there are the following types:

1. The USB power supply is the same as the keyboard / mouse

The + 5V power supply is used to supply power to the interface through a triode, the power supply mode is controllable, and the current is limited (usually the power of the triode itself limits the output capability). 3. It is directly connected to the + 5V power supply, and overcurrent protection is provided by a series of self-recovery fuses. The current that can be provided is usually large. 4. Choose whether to connect to + 5V through a triode or directly to + 5V through a jumper. When selecting to connect to + 5V through a triode, the situation is the same as point 2 (limited by the output power of the triode, connected in series The self-recovery fuse is matched with the triode); when choosing direct connection, it also depends on whether the same self-recovery fuse is used with the former. If so, the power supply current will not be large. If it is independent, then the situation is similar to point 3.

Some methods to judge the type of USB power supply from external phenomena: If the onboard USB interface is controllable power supply, the light of the USB optical mouse is off when it is just turned on or after the machine sleeps. Only when the system starts to load or enter the normal working mode, the light of the optical mouse will be on; and the USB interface uses a + 5V direct supply motherboard.
