Wenzhou Low Voltage Apparatus Laboratory successfully developed intelligent temperature rise-characteristic detection

Recently, an intelligent temperature-rising-characteristic device testing device developed by Wenzhou Low-voltage Apparatus Laboratory was put into operation.

In 2012, the laboratory customized a temperature rise-characteristic detection device for the detection of equipment such as miniature circuit breakers. Because my laboratory is very familiar with the principle and performance indicators of this kind of equipment, in order to reduce costs and improve the practicality, a complete set of design solutions are proposed for custom equipment, including the schematic diagram, shape, and even the parameters and models of each device. This scheme is different from the old equipment currently used in the laboratory, eliminating all traditional instruments, all using PLCs, touch screens, and using A/D acquisition devices for data processing. The equipment is assembled by the production company and is responsible for the development of the PLC program.

After the equipment was put into place this year, it was discovered that the software compiled by the company actually meets certain targets, but it still fails to meet actual requirements for speed and operation. However, enterprises are limited to the technical level, and although they have not achieved satisfactory results after many modifications, the laboratory decided to reorganize the software on its own.

Although the equipment does not have science and technology projects, but laboratory personnel do not count on fame and fortune, with great enthusiasm for scientific research into the development work, access to a large amount of information, often during the day to debug on the device to find problems, at home to work overtime using analog programming changes . After more than two months of hard work, we finally achieved the desired results.

At present, the device can achieve stable flow, freewheeling, automatic preset actions, automatic recording of results and many other functions. Compared with the original old-fashioned devices in the laboratory, the precision is greatly improved, and the efficiency is greatly improved. For example, the original lunch break could not be tested. Now, as long as the parameters are set, no human intervention is required.

The design concept of this equipment is advanced. The laboratory has mastered all the core technologies and has made innovations in many aspects. This not only facilitates the maintenance work, but also can upgrade the equipment according to the needs at any time. Thanks to the mastery of the core technology, laboratories have bargaining power over the equipment and at least a third of the cost compared to similar equipment in the market. At the same time, the related technology of the device can also be applied to other equipments in the laboratory, such as multi-magnetic circuits and other devices, and is also suitable for promotion and application to enterprises at an appropriate time, which is of great significance for improving the automation and efficiency of the experimental device.
