Based on these requirements, we recommend that a network of this size use several ordinary 100M Layer 2 switches to connect to the computer, and all Layer 2 switches are cascaded into the core switch, and in order to meet the fast requirements of Internet speed, we need to purchase Gigabit level Core switch. According to the above analysis, the networking scheme of this network can adopt the two-layer network structure of the user access layer and the core access layer, and form a unit LAN through the stack connection of ordinary layer 2 switches and core switches to meet the various Internet access requirements of the unit . All ordinary Layer 2 switches can be connected to gigabit core switches through fiber optic lines or direct-connect cables. To facilitate future management and maintenance of the network, we recommend that core switches and ordinary Layer 2 switches should have VLAN functions and other manageable functions. In this way, we can divide computers located in the same department into the same VLAN, so as to ensure that the Internet access of each department is not interfered by other departments. In order to achieve the purpose of LAN shared Internet access, we also need to use fiber optic cables to connect the core switch to the router device. In order to ensure Internet stability, we can use router devices that support dual WAN ports to allow the unit network to access the telecommunications network at the same time. Because there are too many Internet users, if 200 computers are set up in a subnet at the same time, not only the security of the LAN network is not guaranteed, but also the future network management and maintenance efficiency will be affected. To this end, we can divide several computers into different subnets according to the floor or work department, and require different subnets to use different VLANs; considering that computers in different VLANs cannot communicate directly with each other, for this reason We also need to set up routing methods to ensure that each VLAN can communicate with each other, which can greatly improve the transmission stability of LAN network signals. Specifically, even if there is a network failure in a VLAN, the failure will not be affected. The entire unit's local area network has an impact, so that it can effectively reduce the failure loss.

Generally speaking, when the number of computers in the domain network exceeds 250, these computers cannot be concentrated in the same subnet, because the maximum number of computers in an IP subnet is 252. After exceeding this number, we It is necessary to divide them into different subnets through the VLAN function of the switch; normally, the number of computers in the same department or the same floor will not exceed 252, at this time we can according to the floor Or different departments, to divide multiple computers located in the same geographical location into the same subnet.

For example, for this article, we can divide more than 100 computers distributed in each floor into two different subnets; for example, we can divide all the computers in the first floor into VLAN1 , The IP address in this network segment can be set to 10.176.6.2—10.176.6.254, the gateway address can be set to 10.176.6.1, and the subnet mask address can be set to 255.255.255.0; then we can set all All computers are divided into VLAN 2. The IP address in this network segment can be set to 10.176.8.2—10.176.8.254, the gateway address can be set to 10.176.8.1, and the subnet mask address can be set to 255.255.255.0.

In order to allow all computers in the two network segments to share the Internet, we also need to properly configure the two gateway parameters 10.176.6.1 and 10.176.8.1 in the core routing switch or dual WAN port router device to ensure that each sub The computers in the network can access the Internet through the LAN routing function. If we want computers in different network segments to be able to access each other, then we also need to set routing parameters in the core routing switch or dual WAN port router device to ensure that they can use the routing function to communicate with each other.

If we do not want to allow computers on different network segments to access each other in the future, we only need to control the routing parameters. Here we need to remind you that even if we modify the routing parameters to achieve the mutual access function of two different network segments, we still cannot find the shared resources located on computers in different subnets through the network neighbor window, but need to open the system The operation dialog box or the address box of the IE browser, enter "\ target computer name or IP address" in it, and click the Enter button to achieve the purpose of cross-network access.
