Professional Lighting Terms - Luminous flux

Luminous flux The light source radiates to the surrounding space and causes visual energy in a unit time, called luminous flux.

It is expressed in Φ and the unit is lumen (Lm).

The luminous flux is related to the radiation intensity of the light source and also related to the wavelength. The human eye is most sensitive to yellow and green light at a wavelength of 555 nm.

Luminous intensity (light intensity)

The luminous flux emitted by a light source within a unit of solid angle in a particular direction is called the luminous intensity of the light source in this direction, and is simply called the light intensity. With the symbol I, the unit candela (Cd) is a light source that radiates light flux uniformly in all directions.

I=Φ/W

The total luminous flux radiated from the Φ-light source in the W solid angle. (Lm)

Solid angle (Sr) of the luminous range of the W-light source

The solid angle is a conical angle, measured in terms of spherical surface, in spherical degrees (Sr)

Rectifier bridge is to seal the rectifier tube in a shell. Points full bridge and half bridge. The full bridge connects the four diodes of the connected Bridge Rectifier circuit together. The half bridge is half of four diode bridge rectifiers, and two half bridges can be used to form a bridge rectifier circuit. One half bridge can also be used to form a full-wave rectifier circuit with a center-tapped transformer. Select a rectifier bridge to consider. Rectifier circuit and operating voltage.
